About the Role

We are seeking an Entry-Level IT Support Technician with foundational certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Security+.

This role is fully remote and will provide help desk and technical support to our diverse client base. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, eager to learn, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

- Hourly rate: $12-$14/hr depending on the candidate’s experience, certifications, and English proficiency.
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 help desk support via email, chat and remote tools (maybe phone)

  • Troubleshoot Windows / Mac desktop and laptop issues. (90% Windows and only about 10% Mac) Printer issues

  • Support Microsoft 365 environments (user accounts, licensing, basic troubleshooting)

  • Configure and troubleshoot basic networking issues (routers, switches, firewalls)

  • Deploy and support endpoint protection solutions

  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding users

  • Document tickets thoroughly and accurately in our PSA system

  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when appropriate

  • Follow security, best practices and company SOPs

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ certification

  • CompTIA Network+ certification

  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP

  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize tasks

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home workspace


Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA Security+ certification

  • Experience in an MSP environment (internship or entry-level role) – Not necessary but would be an advantage.

  • Basic understanding of:

    • Active Directory

    • Azure / Entra ID

    • Backup and disaster recovery concepts

    • Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) tools

  • Familiarity with RMM tools
