Data Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to support our property management
operations. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel,
expertise in Power Query and Power BI, and experience extracting data from system
APIs to build dashboards that provide actionable insights for property management
decision-making.

- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday – Business Hours
- Hours per Week: 40 hours per week
- Hour Rate: $7-$9/ hr based on experience and skills

Responsibilities

  • Extract, clean, and transform data from property management systems and other APIs.

  • Buid and maintain Power BI dashboards to track occupancy, financial performance, maintenance requests, and other key metrics.

  • Develop advanced Excel models for reporting, forecasting, and analysis.

  • Analyze trends and patterns to support operational efficiency and strategic planning.

  • Collaborate with Property Managers, Accounting, and Operations teams to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates in all reports and dashboards.

Requirements

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, data modeling).

  • Strong experience with Power BI – dashboard creation and data visualization.

  • Experience extracting and transforming data from APIs.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely.

  • Excellent communication skills to present insights clearly


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in property management or real estate analytics.

  • Knowledge of SQL or database management is a plus
